Look and feel

Interpreting the project specifications and translating them into page designs.

Iterative design

Design work is carried out in cycles. Designs are completed, reviewed and modified repeatedly.

Each iteration is more successful than the last, the strongest elements prosper while the weakest regress.

Wireframes

Wireframes allow us to walk-through the site, making sure the concept works before wasting any development time.

Each page type is developed in skeleton form. The point of this process is establish layout and basic operation.

Site architecture and resulting navigation is explored and tested.

The development of wireframes allows the separation from design elements that may otherwise cause distraction.

Branding and identity

Only once the wireframes are fully developed are design elements involved.

Colours, typefaces, graphics and images are all worked into the established framework.
